introducing the “activity feed”

July 25th, 2010

The “activity feed” goes live today. This feature is shown in the home page right below the page title. It shows the pulse of the site.

Currently the following activities are recorded and shown:

  • New user registration
  • New artist account
  • Publish of a collection
  • New item added to a collection
  • New favorite item picked by a user
  • User following an artist

We look forward to your feedback on this feature.

is your art on facebook, twitter or your own site?

July 17th, 2010

Let your users know about it. We have added the “Internet Presence” options in your “Profile”.

You can add a facebook page or profile, a twitter profile and one website. With this you can now promote your own personal pages where your art is exposed or discussed.

We would appreciated if you would also link back to Artgonia.

Thanks!

Want to see how your art is doing?

July 15th, 2010

Today we released the new “Dashboard”. This is the place where you can go and see how your art is doing in Artgonia. In the Dashboard, you’re able to see:

  • Total number of times that your profile page has been visited.
  • Total number of fans and information about the last 3.
  • Information about the most visited Collections.
  • Information about the most visited, best rated and worse rated items in your collections.

This will empower you to see how your art is being received by the Artgonia community as well as give you focus on what to promote next.

Enjoy tracking your art’s performance on the web!

See your favorite art without distractions

July 12th, 2010

Tonight we have released the newest feature to Artgonia Collections: The Slideshow. This allows published collections to be seen in slideshow fashion with a less distracting background and full focus on the art itself.

Check it out, here’s one of my favorite collections in slideshow mode:  http://www.artgonia.com/collections/slideshow/107

Artists can now use the direct link to the slideshow to call it from their blogs and websites and like pretty much anything in Artgonia, it can be shared in many of the social networks out there.

Enjoy watching art with The Slideshow!
